Elderly care institution in former monastry
Large-scale and extensive renovation of approximately 70 compact and high-quality care apartments. Comfort and a healthy indoor climate were central, within the context of a monumental building with a sleek and well-thought-out interior design by the architect.
The challenge
The explicit wish was to integrate the Fresh-r solution completely “invisibly” on both the inside and outside. Installation had to take place in a narrow, transversely positioned wall between two windows, without the possibility to run ducts directly to the outside.
The solution
The Fresh-r In-the-Wall is seamlessly integrated into a sleek white wall, precisely positioned between the windows and not visible from most parts of the room. With a custom-developed built-in frame and staggered pipes, a suitable technical solution was achieved in close coordination with the installation company. On the exterior, a grille has been installed across the full width of the painted wooden facade, in the same color and with carefully measured openings, making the whole visually blend completely into the facade.
The ‘invisible’ Fresh-r. Fully installed in the wall, with only a small edge visible. An aesthetic highlight without loss of space.
Architects always choose the In-the-Wall. Aesthetically the most beautiful solution. Fresh preheated air exactly where you want it. A healthy and comfortable indoor climate without energy loss.
The Fresh-r is installed completely within the wall, and the door can be painted the same color as the wall. If desired, you can also extract air from another room via a duct.
