Long, narrow house with an extension and a thorough renovation, including new glazing and insulation of single-brick walls. The house is detached on one long side.
Due to the narrow layout and the thickening of the entire side wall with timber framing and insulation material, finished with sleek plasterwork, there was no space for visible pipes or a large unit in the living area. The solution therefore had to be compact and visually understated.
A Semi In-the-Wall solution was chosen, which seamlessly matches the sleek interior and visually fits well next to a window of similar height. By creating a custom opening in the timber frame, an additional frame was not necessary, saving both costs and installation time. Placing it halfway along the long, narrow space also ensures an even supply of fresh air to both ends of the house.

A mold-free, healthy, and comfortable home. Plenty of ventilation volume and heat recovery with a modest appearance; protrudes only 6 cm from the wall.
