The challenge

The farmhouse has been completely renovated while preserving characteristic elements such as beams and slanted ceilings. At the same time, the house has been highly insulated from the inside with thick inner walls. There was no space for ventilation ducts, while an optimal indoor climate and at least energy label A+ were required. In addition, the solution had to be suitable for rooms with varying occupancy and different sizes.

The solution

Fresh-r In-the-Wall units were chosen to maintain the sleek wall finish. The metal framing aesthetically matches both the company’s steel window frames and the woodwork of the original farmhouse. Larger office spaces are equipped with multiple units to ensure sufficient capacity. Toilets and the hallway have separate ventilation to the outside, with a controlled supply of fresh air. The Fresh-r units are connected via the Wi-Fi network for monitoring air quality and performance.
